Do you think unmarried heterosexual couples should have domestic partnership rights or should that be banned?
Nope. I believe that hetrerosexual couples that are not married should not have the right to what legitimately married couples have. And I doubt if you are really Dennis Hastert, but this is still my final answer.
Yes they should, and you should resign.
In many states its recognized and legally binding and referred to as ';common law marriage';
EDIT: Gaspode...that is news to me show me your sources please
No. Only unmarried homosexual couples in which one partner is underage should have domestic partnership rights. Isn't that what Hastert says?
;) sorry, i couldn't resist.
I think both homosexual and heterosexual couples should have domestic partnership rights!
If a state wants to recongnize a relationship as a marriage, civil union or whatever and pass on rights to those relationships then by all means I am for it.
The Federal government though should keep its nose out of the bedroom and let the states do what they think is right for their citizens.
Should not be allowed. It used to be a ';common law'; marriage was legal but most states have ceased recognizing it.
If all domestic partnerships are to be recognized, how about people that have a dependent parent living with them?
