there parents tend to arrange the marriage for them so they do not meet the other until the wedding dayWho helps muslim couples whether they should get married?
If its a guy, and he sees a girl that he likes, he goes to the girls father to get permission to know her better.





If its a girl and she sees a guy she likes, she asks her dad to speak to him to see if he is interested. If he is then they get to know each other in the same way as above.





Then they decide if they wanna get married.

most times couples meet on their own. its not the ';old days'; family bond is strong in Muslim houses. so meeting the other family is important. the whole ';you dont maryy just them but the whole family'; is very real in Islam. most times if you need advise about getting married. the family will give it to you WEATHER U WANT IT OR NOT.....in most casses! ha ha


if u happen to live far aay from your family. i would recommend u seek the advise of an older couple in your town or an Iman (holy man)
