Why do so many Baptist couples, Lutheran couples, and non-denominational couples Live together without being Married?
For exactly the same reasons as anyone else does.
The majority of the Catholic couples that I know are all married

You can ask this question about any group of people. Any particular reason why you're singling out the Catholics?

Probably for the same reason it is rare for a priest to remain celibate. The Church's rules are ridiculous. They force many to lead lives of hypocrisy, because people are just not meant to be alone. And whether a couple is living together, legally married or married ';in the church'; is no business of anyone's except those involved. The same applies to the use of birth control.
They have been mislead, by a society that refuses to negatively judge bad behavior, into thinking cohabitation is a good idea - even though it is so obviously against the moral order of the Catholic Church.





It should be noted that non-married Catholics couples are not the only couples engaged in cohabitation.
the tax code does not favor marriage. they are taxed more.

Why do couples of any denomination live together, cause for many marriage changes things, or they have already been there and done that.
because they, like most of the ';Christian'; no married living together couples, aren't steeped enough in their faith to understand what a disservice they are doing to themselves.
It's not a fundie religion. The priests don't check up on you. I know so many ';Catholics'; that only go to mass on Christmas and Easter. It's a part time religion for most at best.
They may or not be aware that living together without being married is a mortal sin. They need to confess their sin to a priest and stop sinning.
Probably because they want to make sure they can get along under the same roof before tying the knot. My mom and I lived with my step dad for almost a year before they even thought of getting married. Go figure.
Because they choose to, that's their right to do so.
