Why do some couples marry on a weekday such as Wednesday or Friday?

It is much cheaper to get married any other day but Saturday.





Another reason may be the date. It didn't work out for me but my husband and I want to get married on the same day we had our first date.





And yet another reason maybe because they want to use a certain facility that is not available on the weekend. I went to a Wednesday wedding for this very reason.Why do some couples marry on a weekday such as Wednesday or Friday?
There could be alot of reasons.. maybe that particular day is very important in their history (like they met on that day)... maybe the place where they want to be married or the person who they want to perform the ceremony is already booked on the weekend.. the reasons could be many.
Vendors will usually book a weekday at a much cheaper price than on the weekend.
We married on Friday because the honeymoon lasted longer that way.
Cost or because they want a specific date. Sometimes that they only opening the church/hall has.
For some people they get married on a certain DATE.....because it means something to them.





We got married on the 13th because that was the day we met.
maybe the date.. 08/08/08


07/07/07 you know..I'm not sure if is cheaper or maybe they just want to get it over with.. and go on their honemoon..
