How do anime fans come up with couples in anime?

ive been thinking about this for a while. there seems to be a couple fro everyone even if they dont make sense like sasori and sakura. sakura killed him! why? how do you make them? i ahve cookeis in my brain when thinking of this lol xD

Basically, everytime there's an encounter between two characters, even though it's something bad, we just tend to think, ';Ooh, look, something's going on between them - chemistry ^^!!!'; You're not the one who finds that some pairings are weird. Take Szayel Grantz and Abarai Renji, for instance - a friend in my workplace wrote a fanfic about them and I was thinking, ';What the hell do they have in common?!';

Animes without many pairings (or with too many) make fans produce random pairings.





Most pairings have their roots in the anime, such as MattXMello, SasuSaku, and as far as AlucardXIntegra.


Many are due to rivalry, such as SasoriXSakura, NearXMello and Alexander AndersonXAlucard.


And some are from fans on crack: like GaaraXTemari.





As long as someone gets a kick out of it, they don't care. Don't let it bother you too much. It doesn't matter what the fandom thinks.

They usually read Fanfiction %26amp; Doujinshis %26amp; based on those they come with those weired couples knowing that in the main story no way this can be true.


The ones that i laugh about is that actual persons think that Naruto %26amp; Hinata has been dating each other %26amp; she kissed him %26amp; the same for Sakura %26amp; Sasuke.


Although the real story shows that Sakura is gonna be with Naruto %26amp; Now love him.


%26amp; Hinata hasn't shown here true feelings yet to him or anyone else.
some people just have weird thoughts, and dont have common sense
I've been wondering the same thing! People just have weird minds I suppose!
i havent seen naruto but if sasori and sakura arent good friends then thats why anime fans make them a couple. to ';consolate'; theirselves.. like LxLight.. theyre enemies and thats why fans made this couple, cause they would love to see them bein friends ^^
they have to like the pairing
Well I think they just pick there favorite characters and pair them up. For example my friend loved kurenai (why I do not know) and she loved Kakashi so she made a couple out of them. Or lets say that they seem to like each other in the show. For example, Sakura+Sasuke, Naruto+hinata, Rukia+Ichigo, Orihime+Ichigo, Or Inuyasha+Kagome. Then those couples would make a lot of sense lol But the other weird ones are probably just a combination of favorite characters. But yeah Sasori and sakura....that's definitely an..............Interesting one....no JUST PLAIN WEIRD haha Maybe someone thought that they would look cute together or something dumb...lol
there are just some stupid people who take random people from animes and say Sakura and sasori 4eva!!! im like WTF?!!? why would sakura go with sasori? i really dont get why people do it either but i guess it amuses them or something.. taking people and making them couples

Some of them are made because they're hinted at in the show or game. For example, AxelxRoxas. I haven't actually played the game yet, but people tell he there's a part where Axel starts spewing mushy lines at Roxas. Or TsuzukixHisoka. There's never anything that actually says that they're a couple, but people put them together because of the scene where Tsu-chan carries a drunk Hisoka to bed and brushes some hair out of his face, as well as some other cute things.





As for the ones that don't make sense, I have an explaination for that. The fans think the two characters are hot and so put them together, even if they don't make sense. My favorite pairing happens to be Sephiroth/Vincent, just because I think the two of them are too pretty for anyone else to have. Other than that, I have no reason for putting them together and it would be highly unrealistic in the game. Some people will even make Alternate Universe versions of characters to make their favorite pairings work.
Personally, I look for an emotional, or some other deep, connection. Sasori/Sakura doesn't make sense to me personally, but whatever floats your boat. One of my favorite pairings is Gaara/Naruto (yes yaoi), because there's obviously a deep connection and lot of emotion between the two.
