Should gay couples be allowed to foster or adopt?

Why not if they will make good parents... plenty of real **** hetro parents and adoptive parents many who also abuse kids.








As for the potential to get bullied... not if trained in self defence so they can teach manners and lessons in equality and respect to anyone who tries.








Plus its the extended family and community who should bring up kids. Ie the gay couple should have friends who can prodive what they cant . Just like stright parents can have the cool dude ladies man mate who can give pulling tips to the boy. or the surf chick mate who could give the tomboy girl tips

Yes. If they are suitable, the same as other couples.
Most definately yes! Why not, this is so annoying, if the need to have children is a genuine one then why should gay couples be treated any differently, makes me sick when you think of all the children out there who desperately need a loving home and all the couples who desperately want children but for one reason or another can't have them. Just because someone is gay doesn't mean they can't bring a child up. Look at all the people in this world who have children just to get a council house and benefits, this country is so messed up, live and let live I say.
given the number of kids with no proper parenting, I say any couple or person who can give a kid a good home, lots of support and the normal creature comforts without avbusing them or what-have-you shoud be considered to foster kids. After all, we see so many cases of child abuse where it is natural parents hurting their own kids, it is high time we do better for kids by not excluding good parents solely on the basis of their religion, racial origin or sexual orientation.
