No. For one, it wouldn't stop anyone. And second, people have the right to live and raise a family in a way that they think is best. The freedom to raise a family in accordance to your own values is a fundamental right of being a human being. Requiring a license to have children will only open up a window for abuse. Yes. I beleive they should. The license should include taking parenting classes and how to ';train your kid';. These kids these days have no manners and aren't given a direction in life. It's sad....

While I would dearly LOVE to say yes, (and pp should have to take a really hard exam with not only ethical but practical questions so we can breed out stupidity...) I can not.





I already think Government has way too much control over our lives this would just be another privacy invasion.
Not sure about a licence, but it might make sense to offer an ongoing enhanced bursary to parents (and I say two, married, parents) who were willing to undertake a course in good parenting, and to accept ongoing counsel and support.





And, at the same time, perhaps, to offer gifts of fags, booze and all kinds of flashy, trashy consumerist rubbish to those who wished to be sterilised!
