Are you adverse to big age differences between couples?

Most people seem to shake their head and frown upon couples whom have a great age disparity between them. I read the responses to a question inquring about the morality of student-professor romantic relationships. For many of the respondents age was a great factor in deciding whether the relationship was moral or immoral.

If the younger partner isn't a gold digger and the older partner isn't in it merely for ';looks';, would you still be uncomfortable with the age disparity? What if both partners were intellectually compatible? Or what if they both had a decent level of maturity? Are you adverse to big age differences between couples?
I think the latter part of youf question hit the nail on the head. Age is truly a number and what does matter is the level of maturity and their compatibility. Nothing more, nothing less. If people frown, they are probably frowning because they married someone they can't stand to be with another second and another couple's happiness....no matter what age, leaves them envious. Are you adverse to big age differences between couples?
Eight to ten years should be the max age difference - any more and it really isn't a good idea. It's getting into the ';he could be your father'; area..... and the EWWW factor!
the immoralty is when a teacher usees theire station for sex othher then that don't find anything wrong with it
