Is it normal for married couples without kids to have sex once or twice a week?

Before our 2year old, It happened everyday, up to 3 times, however that stopped when the baby came. It depends on how much both of you want it. When it becomes routine is when it is not fun anymore.Is it normal for married couples without kids to have sex once or twice a week?

My wife and I dont have kids and we do it 2 or 3 times a day. Might as well cause when we do have kids we wont have as much alone time.

Some are more. Some are less. Some have times when it is more often and the same couples have other spans of time that it is less often. Depends alot on what all is going on at the time. Is one of them especially tired that week? Sick? Stressed? Depressed? Sad? Angry? Happy? Celebrating something? etc. etc. etc. There are all sorts of factors that play into what's ';normal'; for a couple.





And what's ';normal'; frequency for one couple may be different that what's ';normal'; for another couple.





Also, what's ';normal'; for a couple may change through the years as their relationship mellows and becomes more secure, whether or not there are children present.
Before we had kids we had sex once or twice a day. But if neither of you has a problem with it then there's no problem. Maybe you should spice things up, try some games or read some erotica, etc.

Once or twice a week! I'd love to have sex with my wife once or twice a week. (no kids). Try once or twice a year and see how you like it.

I think so. Among other factors, it depends on your age too. I'm 42 now and don't think about sex as much anymore. And frankly, it's liberating.

Not really. Generally 3 or 4 times a week would be average. It's a problem if one of you wants it more and the other person less. You need to find middle ground on this one
