I know the divorce rate for hetero couples bounces around 50%, but have there been any studies out there that calculate the divorce rate of gay couples who have recently been married in Massachussetts and other gay-friendly court systems? (Please don't waste your time by responding with your views regarding the validity of these marriages.)Anyone know the divorce rate of gay couples?
probably same as straight couples 50/50. Many of the gay people who got married when the law changed in mass have gotten divorced, but many are also still together. Mass is the only state to base it on because you can only get a ';divorce'; if you are married first, and only in Mass can gay people get married. ';Civil unions'; and crap are not the same, they basically mean nothing.Anyone know the divorce rate of gay couples?
In order to have a divorce rate you have to have a marriage rate.
