Why do some gay couples hang out with other same sex gay couples?

I have always wondered this. Wouldn't they be scared that one of the other people in another couple might try to steal their man/woman? Whats your take on it? Do you and your partner hang out with other gay couples?Why do some gay couples hang out with other same sex gay couples?

There is no different then gay couples befriending other gay couples- straight people hang out with other straight couples all the time.
Gay, heterosexual, whatever I am sure all couples hang out with other couples at times. I am in a relationship and me and my partner hang out with lots of other same sex couples, and also heterosexual couples.





I have never been scared of anyone stealing anything, why would I be? I don't see what difference it makes if it is 2 hetero couples or two gay couples?
If people allowed that fear to dominate their lives, straight couples wouldn't hang out with each other, either. You sound like you're assuming that there is no commitment among gay couples or that it somehow means less among gays than among straight people.
We hang out with all kinds of different couples. Everything from gaqy friends to family members.

Why shouldn't we. When my ex and I went out with friends, they were a gay couple too. It was not a big deal. My partner knew he didn't have anything to worry about and I knew I didn't have anythign to worry about. The other couple felt the same way. It was just friends. I know that's hard to believe, but gay guys can be friends without jumping into the sack with whoever they run across.
Why do some gay couples hang out with other same sex gay couples? You mean the way straight couples hang out with other straight couples. Grow up or at least be more intelligent with your presumptions.

I'm gay, single and hang with straight guys mostly.
There is no more risk in gay couples hanging out together than in heterosexual couples hanging out together. In fact, gay couples probably would hang out more together because of the places they go to where there is no harassment etc and are probably even less likely to shop around...
Uhh, same reason straight couples hang out with other straight couples. Why would they be different from us just because they are gay? Straight people couples like to hang out with like minded people. So do gay couples.
